Please, PLEASE tell me how to subscribe!! Can you receive checks? We are at a loss because our bank will not allow various methods we might suggest. Do give me any kind of help. Once a year? I think you're WONDERFUL! You and Peter Kwasniewski keep me going in this Rat's Age! God bless you and all your efforts. kr
I'm afraid I can't help if your bank won't allow any of the normal electronic means. I have no idea what I would do with a cheque. All my banking and financial life is now electronic. I don't think there is even such a thing as a branch, and I don't think I've clapped eyes on a paper cheque since leaving Canada. I didn't know anyone still used them. Thanks very much for the kind thought though.
Thanks Kathleen. But don't fret about it. If you're having trouble with the normal electronic means of paying for things maybe it's time to get a different bank account? Paying for things online really is completely common and I can't imagine why it is being made so difficult for you by a bank. It's very easy to open a paypal account and simply link it to any normal bank account, for example. I'm the world's biggest luddite, and even I was able to manage it. This website works on Stripe, which is similar to Paypal and all I needed was a bank account with an IBAN number - an International Bank Account Number - which all bank accounts have.
but anyway, just don't worry about it. I'm glad you're reading.
Incredible growth! As a fellow west coast Canadian, it’s impossible to even imagine Culture Cross being able to support myself financially, and I find myself in a similar position to you by branching out to new mediums on my lonesome. However, even though it’s understandable you need something more, I’m still inspired by seeing the growth from what you’re doing here.
Yes, it's really heartening. I didn't know when I started if this was just a niche interest of my own that was too weird and obscure to catch any interest outside my circle of friends.

Regret being so antiquated--but I'm an antique myself. However, I shall continue to find some way to send something to you. God bless!
