Finally, I hate PayPal. The most bizarre and unfriendly platform ever. Everybody now uses Revolut to transfer money around the world or debit cards for payments. Subscription can be easily set up.
My friend who works in trading and fx and etc recommended as a very good online platform. I don't know if it's ok for subscriptions but I'll check the alts.
As I was about to say before Ko-fi decided I was getting a tad too wordy:
"(Which is to say, that at this point I can't tell whether I'm using Stripe or some other thing. Ko-Fi doesn't say. But am charging ahead regardless. Wish me luck.)"
Ah. that's easy to explain. If you've made a payment today through the Ko-Fi studio blog, which you have - thank you - it will automatically go through Stripe to the correct account, ie: my Italian bank account. So, it's set up so you can't do it wrong. Paypal is turned off on Ko-fi.

Apparently Revolut is no good. I'm looking into alts.

I don't have any issues with Revolut, so far.
I've got someone helping out who recommends Wise for Italian accounts. It's handled. thanks.
Johnny Cash singing Folsom Prison Blues, but revised for PayPal. "PayPal, may the world regret that you did no good"
