Ah, yes: growing up in Southern California, I have been through my share of earthquakes. I was near the epicenter of the Northridge Earthquake in 1994. Then I moved to Idaho. No more earthquakes for me for the next 25 years, until the very day our bishop announced the eradication of traditional practices in the Novus Ordo Mass such as kneelers for Communion and the priest facing east. On that day, a major earthquake struck that was felt all over the state and into Canada. I migrated to the SSPX. And just a couple of weeks or so later, the spiritual earthquakes, in the form of lockdowns, struck. Was it a coincidence that exactly 50 years after the Novus Ordo appeared, all the Novus Ordo Masses everywhere were shut down, and only the Mass of Tradition remained?

I like what you wrote about following God's will. This is a mystery for me. Sometimes I think I know a little bit more and later on I ask myself do I really follow His will.

I have the same battle in my mind regarding all this activism and involvement. I look around and see how this fast and active life is falling apart. Like many of us desperately need silence and live like in small neglected Nazareth. Thank you for what you do. Many things you wrote in other articles were pretty heavy for me, but I'm grateful for this.
